ILM Level 4 Award in Leadership

The ILM Level 4 Award in Leadership has been designed for practising or potential managers looking to develop an understanding of leadership skills using practical activities.

This concise qualification is made up of three mandatory units. The first unit, ‘Introduction to leadership’, explores different leadership styles and behaviours and their impact on individual and group behaviour. In the second unit candidates plan a practical leadership activity including; identifying resources, assessing risks and briefing the team and allocating roles and responsibilities. In the final unit of the qualification candidates implement their learning through leading a team through the planned, practical activity.
